Yale’s philosophy of applications engineering has led to the creation of industrial rope products using the newest and best synthetic fibers available in the world.
Our proprietary machinery, some of which is built here on site at Yale, solves common problems people have when using traditional ropes in the field. Using it, we create ropes that can absorb high dynamic loads, be spliced to tight tolerances, and resist elongation in use.
Our industrial products include: utility rope (telephone and electrical), commercial marine rope, construction rope, and safety rope.
Yale offers a wide array of synthetic constructions, from parallel-core cable produced by our North Carolina factory to single braids, double braids, and plaited ropes manufactured here in Maine.
Fully half our ropes leave here as fabricated rope tools, and exhibit a level of craftsmanship not available elsewhere.
Fortis2 is a heavy-lift sling of Unitrex XS that has the durability and stiffness of a wire rope sling at a fraction of the weight.
ZipGrip is used in the offshore pipe lay and umbilical installation and maintenance arena.
