The eye is covered entirely with an extra layer of braid, which is saturated with Maxijacket™ urethane, abrasion-resistant coating for extended life.

    In our continuing effort to develop innovative rope products for high-performance applications, Yale Cordage has unveiled LOUPS™, endless slings of extraordinary strength. The concept behind LOUPS is simple; using UHMW braid, Yale’s engineers overlap consecutive coils, and then splice the ends to create a single loop of overlapping lines. That multiple-strand loop is then encased in a 48-carrier polyethylene sleeve to reduce abrasion.
