Chafe-Pro®
Chafe-Pro provides durable, removable abrasion protection for ropes, lines, hoses, and other equipment exposed to repeated wear in demanding marine and industrial applications. Manufactured from marine-grade abrasion-resistant polyester and nylon textiles, Chafe-Pro wraps around the line to provide effective protection while maintaining the flexibility needed during use.
Unlike permanently installed chafe protection, Chafe-Pro can be installed or removed as needed, including on lines already in position. A unique nylon hook system secures the protection without requiring lacing or lashing. Its flexible, mildew-resistant and UV-resistant construction makes Chafe-Pro well suited for mooring lines, fender lines, eye splices, ship tow and assist lines, hydraulic hoses, shore power lines, and other high-wear applications.

Chafe-Pro is a removable protective covering designed to help safeguard ropes, lines, and hoses against abrasion in demanding applications. Constructed from marine-grade abrasion-resistant polyester and nylon textiles, the protection wraps directly around the line and is held securely in place using an integrated nylon hook system, eliminating the need for additional lacing or lashing.
Its flexible design allows Chafe-Pro to move with the line and remain installed through eye splices, chocks, capstans, and windlasses. Because it can be installed on lines already in position and removed when necessary, protection can be placed exactly where repeated contact and abrasion occur. Resistant to mildew and UV exposure, Chafe-Pro provides a versatile solution for protecting mooring lines, ship tow and assist lines, fender lines, hydraulic hoses, shore power lines, and other equipment exposed to harsh marine environments.
