Ultrex
Ultrex is the premier 12-strand single braid rope manufactured in the USA by Yale Cordage. Ultrex is made from Dyneema (HMPE) fiber and enhanced with the extremely durable Maxijacket High Performance coating, which supplies superior abrasion resistance. Ultrex’s braid angles and twist level are designed to optimize break strength and keep stretch low.
Ultrex<sup>SLE</sup>
UltrexSLE is a 12-strand premium HMPE rope purpose-built for the Electric Utility and Transmission Industry. Manufactured in the USA from internationally sourced fiber, UltrexSLE delivers the exceptional strength and reliability of Ultrex with added dimensional precision for compatibility with standard stringing equipment.
River Max
River Max is double braid rope with a unique design that provides the ultimate in abrasion protection while still providing the highest strength possible, all in a High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE) fiber construction.
Double Esterlon
Double Esterlon is a double-braided rope constructed of premium over finish polyester fiber in both the sleeve and core. This product is identified by two green strands braided into the cover structure and is available with optional Maxijacket urethane coating to further enhance the rope’s wear resistance.
PE-12
Using the same high-tenacity fiber we use in our value-packed Portland Braid, this polyester single braid offers a single-end-per-carrier construction, which keeps the rope from flattening out in service and self-centers in sheaves beautifully.
GlideLine
GlideLine is a double-braid HMPE underground pulling rope assembly purpose-built for utility, telecom, and construction installations. Engineered with an HMPE core and jacket, GlideLine delivers maximum strength, abrasion resistance, and controlled elongation, with a protective coating and REDLIGHT™ Technology to improve conduit protection and jobsite efficiency.
Maxibraid Plus
Maxibraid Plus is a double-braided rope constructed of an inner load-bearing core of High Modulus Polyethylene (HMPE). The polyester outer sleeve is slightly thicker than Ultrex Plus, which would provide more abrasion resistance in high-wear applications.
Aracom 100
Aracom 100 is a 12-strand rope comprised of 100% Technora® Aramid fiber. Teijin’s Technora Aramid is selected for this rope due to its ease of handling and reduced internal yarn-on-yarn friction, which greatly increases this Aramid’s longevity.
