The Crane Sling is a purpose-built rigging solution engineered specifically for arborists performing crane-assisted tree removals. Constructed in the USA with MaxiBraid Plus double-braid HMPE architecture, each sling features a 100% HMPE load-bearing core that delivers exceptional strength retention and extremely low elongation under heavy load. This core is protected by a durable polyester cover, designed to withstand the repeated abrasion from rough bark, rigging hardware, and crane operations.

To further extend service life, each sling incorporates chafe sleeves positioned in high-wear zones, ensuring the sling stays mission-ready through demanding cycles of limb lifting, negative rigging, and sectioning work aloft.
Crane slings, as with rigging lines, are color coded for easy identification, in the field.

Angle Effect: Sling Capacities
The capacity of a multiple-leg sling is directly affected by the angle of the sling leg with the vertical. As this angle increases, the stress on each leg increases. The capacity can be readily determined by multiplying the sling’s vertical capacity by the appropriate load-angle factor.
